Karijini Abstract

Introducing “Karijini Abstract,” a stunning photograph captured by renowned Pilbara landscape photographer, Karl Monaghan. This fine art print is available as a Fine Art Paper Print or a canvas print, making it the perfect addition to any Western Australian art collection.

Karijini National Park is located in the heart of the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The rugged landscape features deep gorges, rocky cliffs, and cascading waterfalls that create a surreal atmosphere. One of the most iconic gorges in Karijini is Hancock Gorge, known for its steep walls and stunning waterfalls.

When asked about the inspiration behind “Karijini Abstract,” Monaghan said, “I wanted to capture the essence of the Karijini landscapes, the textures, and colours. I used camera movement to force an abstract view of a waterfall deep in Hancock Gorge, and the result is an image that feels uniquely of the Pilbara region.”

This photograph is an excellent example of Australian landscape photography and art photography, showcasing the beauty of the Australian bush in abstract form. It is a perfect representation of Karl Monaghan’s unique style, which emphasises the natural textures and colours of the Australian landscape.
